Tap Extensions
The tap extension is defined in DIN 377 and with square diameter according to DIN 10.
Besides hand taps, other tools with square shank can also be extended, such as hand reamers and screw extractors.
When the thread is located deeply in the workpiece and you can't easily accessit. It's virtually impossible to reach such depths by using an ordinary tap. A tap extension, the inner and outer squares are the same, they can therefore be inserted into each other. thanks to its special design, providing easy access and ensures safe operation.

Tap extension is made of surface hardening or tempered carbon steel, the external and internal square parts are hardened(HRC47 +6), internal square is centered, keeping the concentricity consistent with the clamping square, which is conformed to DIN10
